Day 1 Psalm 34:17a: When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

The Faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

 

Day 5 1 John 1:8:

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the trust is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline
or be weary of his reproof,
